Singapore Day 3

Our last day in Singapore! We had a great day that included lots of air conditioning this time!

We again walked to the ION Orchard Mall and took the MRT down to the Marina Bay Sands area again but this time it was to go to the ArtScience Museum. The museum is actually in the lotus flower looking building! We went to an exhibit that was called FutureWorld where Art meets Science. It was so cool!

The exhibit was all about how technology and art go together. One part of the exhibit had us drawing a picture and then scanning it in and then the picture was then projected onto a big wall where it interacted with other pictures. We also walked through this mirror and light hallway. It’s hard to describe but it was awesome!

After that we just walked around the area a bit more and then took the metro back towards our hotel.

After checking out of our hotel , we realized we had some money left on our bill that we could use since we had a good credit. So we went to have high tea! It was a buffet with lots of food and pastries and of course tea with even more pastries.

Afterwards we headed to the airport and saw the Jewel at the Changi airport. The Jewel is like a shopping mall/attraction all in it’s own right and you can just go without having to have a boarding pass or anything. So there was a huge waterfall ( the world’s tallest indoor waterfall) in the middle surrounded by flowers and it even changed colors! There was also something called a canopy park that had flowers and things where we walked around. After being there a while we went to Singapore Airlines lounge and waited for our flight to Brisbane!

Our flight was about 6.5 hours and went by quickly! Now we are resting in Brisbane before heading out to dinner.

  1. Food looks soo yummy!! You’re in business class again, that’s good. I’m sure it seemed a short trip this time compared to the long long flight to Singapore. Looking forward to seeing Australia thru your eyes!
