So our last day of Sydney was awesome. We went down to Bondi Beach and then walked along this absolutely breathtaking coastal walk to Bronte Beach. It took us less than an hour and we stopped at a cafe and got some flat whites. Most people go all the way to Coogee, which is about another hour or so, which we would have done had we had more time but we needed to head back to get our stuff and go to Auckland! It was beautiful and we had a great time walking the coastal walk. Then we went to the airport and took Quantas Business Class to Auckland. It was under 3 hours and a great experience! When we landed we checked into the Four Points Sheraton, the only Marriott around here. They also upgraded our room and we arrived to welcome macaroons for our honeymoon! On our first full day we walked from the hotel to an area called Ponsonby. It is a really cute neighborhood with many shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants. We went to a place called Ponsonby Central. This place was a big building and then inside were each little restaurants. It was a really cool place. We ate at a place called Foxtrot Parlour and we had this beef or chicken enormous pies! Kevin got lamb and I got beef and stilton. They were delicious.Afterwards we continued to walk around and then headed up toward the SkyTower. This is a large observatory tower where you can see all of Auckland that is 328 meters! You can even bungee jump off of the building! While we were up there, a woman did the bungee jump.Later that night we went to this restaurant called Eight. They have eight different stations..one is sushi, one is salads, one is fish and Asian food, one is grilled meats, desserts, Italian with pasta and pizza, and Indian food. Kevin found this place and it was an awesome meal.Yesterday we took the ferry to Waiheke Island! It is a small island that is known for their wineries. They have many on the island. So we got off the ferry, had lunch at a yummy burger place in the town, and then went to a winery for a tasting called Wild On Waiheke. After we went to another Winery called Mudbrick that looks out on the water across from Auckland. We could see the twinkling lights from our table! We had wine, and New Zealand cheeses. When we took the ferry back there was a night market with so many foods that we stopped and got some Korean beef bulgogi, Hungarian fry bread, and some waffles and ice cream.Today we headed to a Jewish Style NYC deli called Federal Delicatessen and are heading to Queenstown later today!
